"...sooner in AX 5.0" Может, имелось в виду, что, новые возможности станут доступны раньше, если не тянуть с 4.0 столько же времени, как с 3.0 К слову, заявление по срокам перекликается вот с этим (Microsoft to slow the pace of Dynamics ERP releases):
