Sometimes we can see that for Customer dimension the address related hierarchies are containing only Unknown and N/A values.
The issue happens on some environments and not on all.
Customer dimension is based on CustTableCube Named query which is based on CustTableCube View
When you go to Dynamics AX AOT and look into CustTableCube view you will see that there is range specify on DriPatryPostalAddressView on field ValidTo. On some environments the range looks like "12/1/2006 12:00:00 am" .. "12/1/2006 11:59:59 pm", and then the Customer dimension does not process correctly
On the other environments the range looks like: "12/1/2006 12:00:00 am" .. "12/31/2154 11:59:59 pm" and there it works correctly. We did not manage to find the reason of the issue. But we manage to find workaround.
The View CustTableCube is on query CustTableCube in query you should be able to change range for ValidTo.
While saving the changes to query CustTableCube you will be asked:
“The following views might be affecred:-CustTableCube Do you want to continue?” You need to answer yes.
After above changes you need to reprocess dimension Customer and then displayed address data will be correct.
