We are getting close to the release of the Version 1.10 for the
Performance Analyzer for Dynamics, and we thought it would be a great time to start getting feedback for the next version of the tool (Version 1.2). We have some plans in place already, including adding hooks into AX 2012 to pull more configuration data into the tool. If you have any feedback, drop us a comment.
For Version 1.1, we decided to split the code into 2 different builds - one for SQL 2005 and one for SQL 2008. One of the main driving reasons is to take advantage of the new Data Management Views (DMVs) available in SQL 2008, specifically some of the back-ported views from SQL 2012 that are available in SQL 2008 R2 SP1.
Rod Hansen will have more information as we complete the release, so stay tuned for release information as it comes out over the next few weeks.
