XBRL : eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) (Global Financial Reporting initiative)

Reporting: Financial statements, information, non-financials information and regulatory filings.

Use the XBRL feature in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 to:

• Import taxonomies
• Convert taxonomies into row definitions
• Map the Chart of Accounts
• Generate the XBRL financial statement

Import File:

Path: General Ledger > Setup > Posting > XBRL Taxonomy



Export File:

Path: General Ledger > Reports > Transactions > Periodic > Select out put type = XBRL



This enables tab 'XBRL'



XBRL specific versions available are 2.0 & 2.1. (Select the version required, latest version is 2.1 and find the following URL to understand XBRL specifications)

URL: http://xbrl.org/SpecRecommendations

Specify the file name & location to store

This creates an xml type file for the data.
