When you need to start and report feedback to production there could be many different ways you might need to do that based on how you operate. It might be that a manager collects feedback and updates the system. It might be that you don’t often have issues or need to record detailed time so you accept the defaults setup for material and time consumption. AX allows you do vary the processes based on how you work.

In this example let’s have a look at a few ways to start and update production, in this example using operations and not tracking down to the job on a production order.
