If you have ever seen someone’s personalized form in AX and it looks a lot more usable than the standard form, there is an easy way to get that personalization. The first step is to ask that user to save their personalization. To do this, they just have to take the following simple steps:

• Go to the personalized form
• Right click and select Personalize

• In the Personalization dialog, click the Save button and give the personalization a name

Now the personalization is available for you to apply. All you have to do is retrieve the saved personalization using the following steps:

• Go to the form
• Right click and select Personalize

• In the Personalization dialog, select the Retrieve from user button

• Double click the username for the user that saved the personalization. This opens a list of the configurations that the user has saved for this form

• Double click the configuration that you want to apply to your form. This applies the personalization and now all you have to do is close the Personalization dialog and reopen the form

With these quick and easy steps, you can easily share time-saving personalizations across your organization.
