stoneridgesoftware: Sales Order Lines Not Available to Add to a Load in Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations
Источник: https://stoneridgesoftware.com/sales...nd-operations/
==============

In Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Loads in Warehouse management can be built from supply and demand from sales orders, purchase orders, and transfer orders. But what does it mean when the lines from a sales order, for example, aren’t available to add to a load?

One of the reasons this can happen is the delivery address selected on the sales order lines does not have a Purpose of “Delivery.” One of the most common causes of this issue is a new customer address is created on a customer account with a Purpose of “Business” or “Invoice,” it is selected on a sales order, and then either defaulted or rolled down to the sales order lines.

Here’s an example:

The address set up on a customer has a Purpose of “Business.”

A new sales order is created for this customer. The address set up on the customer defaults in as the delivery address on the header and the lines.

To build a load, the Load planning workbench is opened from the sales order.

When Sales lines is selected from SUPPLY AND DEMAND on the Action pane, the sales order lines available to add to a new or existing load should default in.

In this example, no lines default as available to add to a load.

The cause is the address selected as the delivery address on the sales order does not have a purpose of “Delivery” assigned to it.

To resolve the issue, update the customer address so that it includes a Purpose of “Delivery”.

Update the address on the sales order and roll down the address changes to the sales order lines.

Note: In order to trigger a roll down to the order lines, you might have to update the sales order address to a different address (even if it’s incorrect), save the changes, roll down the changes, and then update the address again to the correct delivery address and roll down the address changes again.

From the sales order, open the Load planning workbench, and the sales order lines available to add to a load should appear.

If you have more questions about the optimal use of loads or warehouse management in Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, let us know.
