I know, already 2 weeks have gone since the event, but I have been more than busy these 2 weeks.

This is the first day I have some time to sit behind my computer not having to work on urgent things. (It is weekend AND I have time to get behind a computer.)

Enough rambling now. Let’s get serious!

Again a NAV Techdays that went well (do I dare using "perfect" instead of "well"?)! Even if we experimented new things.

The pre-event workshops and labs during event were new but we didn’t know if those would be successful or not. In 1 word: Bull’s-eye! Both were very successful. Definitely to be repeated!

I also followed one of the workshops:The one about .NET from Vjeko. A very good workshop in which I learned a lot and gave me some good ideas to implement and even more important: where to start!

That doesn’t mean the other workshops were bad or not interesting. It was a hard choice between the three of them.

Also Vjeko wrote a blog about the event and has some pictures in it. The second picture is really what I am thinking about a lot of users. But probably the first picture what THEY are thinking of me. And I am not sure what is worst…

There is also a third picture in his blog. And I have to admit I feel like that… BUT I hope to change that in the not so far away future!

Vjeko, the first picture is what we (C/AL programmers) think when we here you talking about .NET!

BTW: you really should do your workshops and sessions dressed as a black-belt-karateka! (or if you don’t want to do that, at least put some black-belt-karateka shots in your slights!).

Also Waldo wrote about NAV Techdays.

And some more blogs from Gunnar : Thursday Recap and Friday Recap.

Am I really the last one to blog about it? Shame on me!

But I think that didn’t write about the single, most important thing said during the event (at least, that’s what I think about it):

The most important thing said during the event (didn’t read about it in the other blogs) was during the opening keynote on the fact that the "Native Backup" has disappeared from NAV2013 R2: the Microsoft NAV team is working on it to bring back the "Native Backup" back! Probably it will be in another form but it will come back!

Comment from "Native Backup": I’ll be back!
