Microsoft Axapta 4.0 Update

As evidence of this commitment, Microsoft Business Solutions will continue to provide them with new technology, software releases and related services designed to help them achieve lasting success. We will accomplish this by making significant investments in the Microsoft Axapta solution, development organization and support organization.
As part of our commitment to provide the best possible technology and product quality in Microsoft Axapta 4.0, the next release of Microsoft Axapta, we have decided to include additional functionality that is both competitive and timely, and we are committed to a full technical beta process. As a result, we have chosen to delay the release date from the previously announced timeline of the second quarter of calendar year 2005.
Microsoft Axapta 4.0 Beta and Release Plan
Microsoft Axapta 4.0 beta is scheduled for October 2005. The Microsoft Axapta team is planning to undertake a full technical beta with a limited number of existing Microsoft Axapta customers across multiple geographies and various industries.
The general availability date will depend upon the time required to successfully bring the beta customers into “live” production with Microsoft Axapta 4.0. Once the beta customers have the beta release operational, the Release to Manufacturing (RTM) date will be established. We anticipate the RTM in the first half of calendar year 2006.
