It is often required to generate an Excel spreadsheet form NAV directly. This can be done using an [[Automation]] or by using the [[NAV Excel table]]. Using the Excel table is preferred, since it is a standard procedure and survives upgrades better. If you are not familiar with the Excel table, then take a look at the article on the use of the [[NAV Excel table]] first.
Step 1. is generally to take a very simplified Excel generator report, the [[Sample Excel Report]] is used in this case.
